Z87M-D3H BSOD with PCIE WIFI CARD
« on: December 19, 2013, 09:56:54 am »
Hello, I recently bought this MB as a part of complete PC and i plug in the PCI-E WIFI card TL-WDN3800  into second PCI-E slot. After installing driver, my system crashed to BSOD, i installed many drivers version but still same issues. After restart. computer crash at login screen, just safeboot works.

I managed to get wifi card working for some amount of time, after restart, same issues. I had 3x BSOD one after another and then it starts working. But dont know for how long.

I already contacted TPLINK support, there are no other issues with Win 7 x64 and this card. I updated BIOS to F8 because its improving compatiblity for  PCIE. But, its still the same.

Brand new PC, brand new instalation. I already reinstall OS and still the same.

If i disable Wifi card, everything works, looks like MB issue.
HW:
Windows 7 x64
PSU CXM 600W
intel 4440
memory 8GB module
128gb ssd
radeon 7870

Could you swap the Wifi card into the first PCIe slot?

If it works in that position, may be a problem with the slot,
if it fails to work then it looks like a software issue.
