image (or video) problem with Gigabyte GTX 660 ti (white borders)

I had a problem with graphic card but it´s done by updating my bios. however , after updating with the latest driver (332.21) and rebooting my pc,my screen looks strange like showing white borders . really I don't know how to call it. I don't even have an idea about video problems but maybe this picture can help me out explaining my situation

I am using a HDMI cable. windows 8 x32.
just in case the picture above was taken with a phone camera and shows what I watch.

ok problem solved. I was googling and one post said I had to change my hdmi cable . so I did it for one dvi cable and It worked. can anyone explain why that happened? for  cable quality? etc. However it had started working so bad (using hdmi cable) after installing the drivers of my graphic card. I need answers

Not sure, maybe the HDMI cable was at fault?  I'm currently using HDMI for the moment with no problems.
