I have been having a problem with a new install of Win7x64 whereby the latest Marvell SATA drivers cause hangs, errors, and renders OS unbootable, even though the boot drive is on the Intel SATA controller.

When I uninstall the drivers and install older ones everything works fine.

Wondering if anyone else has had problems with the latest Marvell SATA drivers.

My driver is 08/09/2011 and as long as everything is working I will not update it. Plus I have been running almost a year.

The Intel controller is at 10/12/2011,  Network is at 07/20/2011 & video is at 03/28/2013 . As you can see I don't update anything unless I really have to.

So I can't tell you if the newer driver will give me problems. If the older driver is working leave it a lone.
