2x Radeon R9 280X Power supply?

Good day to you all. I'v got a simple question. What power supply should i choose for my rig. I'm planning on running 2x of these here - http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4914#sp . If the near future i may get i5 or i7 CPU still not so sure. Anyway the online PSU calculators say 850W power supply should be enough. And i think to go with Thermaltake Toughpower DPS 850W 14cm/80 PLUS GOLD or maybe i should get 1000W, EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 G2, 80+ GOLD just to make sure? Please give me some advice. Btw i will use my rig for mining for gaming maybe after i get bored xD . Thank you.

Hi GA-User.  You should look at the power consumption of the graphics card under load.  I have a 9280X and its reviews mentioned 300 watts at peak overdriven levels!!! Liquid Cooling throughout the rig.

So 600w to start, plus the MoBo, CPU and drives.  It quickly adds up to 1000 watts, in extreme cases.

Wear and tear of the PSU and its Life should be considered.  I use a 1200 PSU, that never gets hot, comparatively speaking.
