Gigabyte GA-78LMT-Socket AM3+ USB power issue

Hi Folks,

I'm new here, so a bit wet behind the ears when it comes to own build machines.

I'm a photographer and I use a display calibrator which plugs in via USB. Now when my machine is powered off my calibrators light flashes suggesting it is being powered, but when I start my machine is it no longer powered and isn't recognised as being connected when I run my calibration software.

Now I've read about a motherboard app for enabling the USB ports for device charging while the machine is off, but should this affect the powering of the device when switched on?

Any help would be much appreciated

Cheers,

Danny
