Hey all,
I've managed to pick up a Gigabyte GTX 580 3GB card on the cheap and its giving me s*** when I first boot up.
I have a picture when my machine posts and its pixelated slightly but its fine once its done all the fast checks, memory etc.
Will boot into windows perfectly without drivers but with drivers installed I keep getting BSOD everytime just before windows boots to the desktop.
I have tried various drivers and I get the same bloody issue!
Anyone else have this problem? I have tried to flash the bios again and even used another vendors bios but I have had no change
Could this be a voltage issue with the bios as I have heard that this card has had issues.
Main Specs are -
Core 2 Quad Q8200 - I know this might bottleneck the GPU as I haven't been arsed to upgrade my rig for a while
P5NE-SLI Motherboard
6GB DDR2 800
850W PSU - So power isn't the issue
128GB Samsung 840 SSD
1.5 TB WD Green HDD
