P25W Sleeve/Bag Recommendations?
« on: February 19, 2014, 05:46:24 am »
I have a P25W and am wanting to get a sleeve or a very thin bag (as I have a backpack with a laptop section already) for it.

I would like something padded and that fits snug, preferably some sort of handle, but I am  aware that this is not common and I will probably have to stitch one on myself.

What are other people using for their P25Ws and any recommendations?

On Amazon I have whittled them down to 3:

Zeroshock 15.6": http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002WS760A/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE
Targus Zamba 15.6: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003LPQC6M/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2LXHTRCF7AENL
Croco Neoprene 15": http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009X0K4R2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A15TW43BF9Y9WW

Well since 140 on notebookreview forums and 133 here have viewed but not left any message - I assume that everyone just carries their laptop in their arms and nobody uses any protection...or it's just that the Gigabyte notebook community are just a bunch of unhelpful twats. Never have I come across a community online that would not even answer just a basic question like this..

I ended up buying a V7 Professional 16" Laptop Case CSP1-9E as it appeared it would be sufficient plus someone else commented that their laptop with case size 380mm x 260mm x 34mm fitted perfect...however, whilst it does fit (very tight) the problem is that the area under the zip does not have any protection thus will end up marking the silver trim. Also, when zipping up, as it is a very tight fit, the zipper really 'scrapes' over the corners of the laptop so it will for sure mark the trim again. I guess I am luck that I only paid about £8 for the case thou now it has gone up in price.

Since it seems that nobody with a P25W actually uses a case then I will have to investigate further and be the only one to give any advice to anyone on this matter. I'm sure this post is of 0 interest to anyone with a Gigabyte laptop, just like my other post asking whether changing any installed components would invalidate the warranty. Of course, this is not of any concern to any P25W owner and to instead ask the last time they had a s*** would be a more interesting and important question. This will not inspire or prove to anyone that buying a Gigabyte laptop is a good investment.
