Z87X-UD3H not booting.
« on: March 28, 2014, 03:28:45 am »
My current build
CPU: Intel i7-4770k
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD3H
Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 16gb
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250gb
HDD: (some 1tb thing I had laying around)
GPU: EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 760
Tower: BitFenix Ronin
Fans: 2x BitFenix Spectre Pro 120mm
Fans: 2x BitFenix Spectre Pro 140mm
PSU: Corsair AX760i Platinum

This is my first PC build. But it will not start. I was trying to test if it was my PSU by doing this method: http://www.wikihow.com/Check-a-Power-Supply

That test was successful. I tried plugging the 24pin connector back into the motherboard but to no avail. When my PSU is connected to the motherboard itself, no power. The motherboard's onboard power button failed. Nothing

If anyone could offer me any assistance on this, I would be most grateful. I don't know if I just put the cooler on the board too tight and broke the CPU or something else.

Make sure you have the front panel wires connected right into the board on the front panel connection.

All of those were in and fine.

Even the motherboard's onboard power button fails to boot up.
