I apologize as I am sure this has been discussed, but my search came up with no solution.
All of my USB ports work and if something is plugged in, the computer recognizes it and/or charges it. The problem is that when a USB 3 device is plugged in, the USB 3 port doesn't recognize it. I get an error message saying that I should plug the device into a USB 3 port, even though it is plugged into a 3 port. I have heard this is an Intel xHCI problem, but have seen no fix.
Does anyone know how to make this motherboard recognize a USB 3 port correctly?
Thanks in advance.
