Z97 SOC Force, quick question.

Z97 SOC Force, quick question.
« on: May 28, 2014, 04:10:11 pm »
Hi there, first time gigabyte owner, working on my first Intel build. Just got my z97-SOC-Force motherboard in the mail and was wondering, has anyone made a waterblock for the chipset/mofset yet?

Also, why no preinstalled chipset cooler like on the z87?

Still its a nice looking board, looks rock solid, cannot wait to use it with a couple 780's on watch dogs

This board is sweet as for the coolers you probably wont need them mine runs so cool I don't notice it. It is a rock solid board for me Iput an i5 4670k in it and next week I get to build one using the GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming G1 WIFI-BK LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard.  Not sure what CPU I am using looking at the i7 4790k at 4 gig but not sure should be here tomorrow or next day then will test it to see if I like it then decide.
