Another broken 780Ti OC (GV-N78TOC-3GD) rev 1.0

On the 24/5/14 I purchased a Gigabyte 780Ti OC. However since that date I have had nothing but problems when running standard clocks on the card, these problems include artifacts and the 'Display driver stopped responding and has recovered' problem during high GPU load in games and benchmarks.

From what I can tell this is a common problem with these cards. The video below is exactly what is happening when I run the 3dmark Sky Diver  benchmark.

To eliminate the PSU as the problem, I have tried a freinds 780Ti MSI GeForce GTX 780Ti Gaming Edition which runs perfectly in my system.

What is Gigabyte doing to rectify the problem? I have filed for RMA but still no reply and looking at the forums people have even been sent a defective card twice after RMA. Im severely worried about ending up with a £529 paperweight. :o

Sry, but you bought a £529 paperweight unless you modify you BIOS (including the lost of you warranty)

I don't get it why Gigabyte just won't release a new BIOS.

At least i could convince 5 People NOT to buy a Gigabyte Card

have a nice day
