App Centre

App Centre

Hi

Not sure if this is the right section of the forum but after having a quick look there didn't seem to be a section for the Gigabyte utilities.

If I install App Centre my boot time increases by a factor of about 3 or 4 times. The especially slow part is logging onto Windows 8.1 using my Microsoft Account. Total boot time is about 2 minutes give or take. As soon as I uninstall App Centre, my boot times go back to normal at around 25 seconds.

Is there going to be a revised version of App Centre or is there a work around that I haven't heard of yet?

Thanks in advance!

Earlier today I noticed that the App Centre had been updated on 26/08/2014 so I downloaded it and gave it another go. Same problem sadly as the long boot time is back until I uninstall it!

Untick.."Always run on next reboot".

or in OS disable in startup programs.

Hi

That does indeed work until Easytune is installed then it's back to the slow boot. I have compromised as I can overclock from the BIOS and just have onOff Charge, Fastboot and @BIOS installed and App Centre turned to not load on reboot. If Gigabyte can sort Easytune out to stop the sign in to Microsoft Account taking soooo long then I would be very happy.

Install CCleaner and disable startup of EasyTune....Tools/Startup.
or
in OS disable in Task Scheduler.
