My goal is to install a dual boot setup of windows 7, ubuntu 14.04 and a data partion on my desktop, i installed windows 7 first and am now trying to boot ubuntu 14.04 off a usb drive.
i get purple screen with white box and dude down the bottom and then just a flashing (_) no response from keyboard
my system is
gigabyte Z97X-gaming gt
SSD 256gb (windows currently here and works fine)
HDD (future data partion)
nvidia geforce gtx 780ti ()
i was wondering if this might be a motherboard issue? also i have bios version f4 and i car't find the IOMMU enable option?
