I am having a big problem with my new graphics card as when I install it I get a black screen no beeps.I had a ASUS MB and it did not post so I decided to upgrade my MB and got a Gigabyte. Crazy thing it did the same this to this board! I have an old Nvidia GTX 260 and that works fine with my build. I have also tried a HD7770 from a friends computer and it works fine. I thought it was a bad card and was going to RMA it but I tried it in my friends computer and it comes right up. He has a 700W thermaltake, athlon AMD, and Asus MB. So I am totally confused now.
Here is what I have tried to troubleshoot
-Updated the bios to latest version
-Cleared Cmos by removing battery from MB
-Tried to boot it with removing one stick of ram at a time
-Tried both DVI and HDMI
-Tried every PCI Express Slot
-Made sure all wires and cables were tight and seated
I have seen this build work for others online but I am having 0 luck and there is not a ligical explanation I can come to. ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!
