beep beep

[KOPE]

Hi all I have just inherited a m/b from my nephew and when I power it up it instantly beeps twice fans start and even when pressing any combination of keys to enter the bios it just goes straight to bioslock and tries to search the hard drive for a backup bios,anyone know whats wrong with it?has the bios been wiped and if so can I get it going again as it just goes to bioslock???

When my Crucial memory had errors on memtest, my P35ds4  searches an image bios on  the hard drive for a backup bios.
1/ Put the last good Bios on C:
2/ try only with 1 stick of memory, if it is not better, try with the other stick

Can you give more details about your computer ?

Hi, the m/b is a PA35c-DS3R rev2.0
mem.GEIL 2x1gbpc2-6400 ddr2-800cl5-5-5-15
graphics ATI x550ez 256mb I also tried a NVIDIA 8600gt silent
power antec truepower 480w
ps2 k/b
nothing else connected,I did connect a ide hdd but made no difference it just hangs on award bioslock
