Hi all.
What is the difference between Smart Recovery 2 and the generic Windows Restore/Recovery (point).
The other day I had a few issues and decided to use SR2 as opposed to a Windows Restore.
As the SR2 went through the process of closing down and then doing it's thing, I noticed that SR2's action in reality appeared no different to that of the generic Windows Restore. Every step (while the actual display appeared slightly different) was the same.
I was under the impression that SR2 was a program that made a mirror image (copy) of the HD like Ghost or True Image with all it's contents, but now I believe it only takes snapshots, so to speak, of the system settings just like Windows Restore.
Am I correct in my assumption or am I still missing something?
Any advice in this matter would be appreciated.
Regards
