I may have made an oversight recently with the RAM I purchased & it may not be compatible with my Gigabyte mobo. BIOS does show the RAM, so it does pick it up, however the system won't load past the "Starting Windows" screen (Windows 7).
I noticed that the RAM has PnP JEDEC Timing Parameters (listed below) and I am hoping I can work around the issue by updating the timing via BIOS. I did attempt to change these manually to 1333Mhz & 1600Mhz and while the changes looked correct, it didn't progress any further on boot. It was also the first time I'd every attempted it, so wouldn't be surprised if I missed something.

Also (just in case), my old/current RAM is KVR1333D3N9K2/4G and still loads up fine.
I guess my main question before anything is, is this RAM compatible? Or is there hope?
