New ram, no signal

New ram, no signal

 I have just installed new ram 8gb (single) with my old 4gb (single). I turn my computer on and the monitor says no signal. My motherboard is GA-78LMT-S2P.

Looks to me this mobo can only take 4GB (single) sticks at most
