Gigabyte B85M-D3H USB issues.

Hello people!

I've had troubles with my B85M-D3H, i just upgraded my SO to windows 8.1 x64 and i tried to plug my smartphone but isn't working at all now with w8.1 and i can't see USB drivers for this windows on the website only for w7, so that's my doubt there aren't USB drivers for w8.1 ?

Gigabytes site is slow this morning so it wont open a page for me to look into this. Have you tried to install drivers even if they are for windows 7.

Go to device manager and look for yellow marks showing you need the drivers.  Right click it and search for updated drivers. If they don't install the use browse my computer and point it at the windows 7 drivers. See if that helps.

I will check back during the day to see if gigabyte site is up and give more info if I can. Didn't want you to think no one was going to answer.

Yes i tried that, i downloaded drivers for windows 7 x64 with compatibility to windows 8 but doesn't work, showed me an error "This system does not meet the minimum requirements for software installation".

 And tried to update through the device manager as you say but it failed also.

Finally got it to open. You are right and that is weird. Beyond me. How about emailing Gigabyte support and asking them.
