970A-D3 rev3 - USB3.0 capable mobo, yet I'm not even getting USB 2.0 speeds

I've tried this motherboard with Windows 7, W8.1 and W10, all x64. OS up to date, all applications and GPU drivers up to date, even tried installing the drivers from the website multiple times. BIOS is up to date.

Currently running Windows 10 TH2 x64 with a AMD 280X and Crimson 15.12 drivers.

I bought this motherboard in 2013 along with an FX 6300, which I keep overclocked to 4.5 GHz. I have 3 DIMMs of ram. 2x2 GB DDR3 1333 and one 4 GB 1600, that's underclocked to 1333. I've set the FSB to 2600 MHz (like how 990X/FX motherboards have. 970 mobos have it set to 2400).

And yet, regardless of USB stick, if it's 2.0 or 3.0, I NEVER get more than 8.5 MB/s read/write on USB 2.0 and like 8.7 MB/s on USB 3.0.

What can be an issue? What should I check? What can I do ?

on my 990fxa-ud3 rev4 and 990fxa-ud5, i have about 30mb on 2.0 and about 100mb on usb 3.0.
On microsoft drivers for via, or via original drivers( vl805-google it), on win7, win8, win10, doesnt matter

So what do you suggest? Using the drivers for Eltron USB from Gigabyte's site did nothing. Using old AMD drivers that provided miscellaneous motherboard stuff also didn't make a difference.

my boards have VIA 3.0, not Etron.
But you could try an older driver etron or newer) , search on their website( etron).
you need to have about 100mb/sec on 3.0.

On our VIA 3.0, after we restart PC , devices plug into 3.0 dissapear.
FIX: Shutdown PC and start again, do not use restart. Maybe Etron have same problem.
