By any chance do you have the power & reset plug switch around?
I really doubt so. I extracted the motherboard pulled off everything and identified that some pins on the socket are bent. So I bent them back using a toothpick, now they barely differ from others. And their ends are aligned in the grid with others.
Also I power it on(the MB not socket) with a knife by touching the distinctly visible power pins. And I cleared CMOS many times.
Still nothing.
When I start MB with CPU loosely laying on a socket - it seems to be starting fine as well as w/o CPU.(actually it starts for couple seconds and them turns off - I don't have a beeper, it also complicates the thing)
Once I secure the socket lock - it starts for a half of the second, like on a vid. It's a bummer that I don't have a post message board. Will try to bring it to my workplace to see the error code...
