GA-X99-UD3 will not boot to BIOS

Just built a new PC (see particulars bellow) and it will not boot to the BIOS. I get one long beep followed by 5 fast beeps. No monitor display. Have not been able to get any further than this.

Here are things that I have tried with no success:

- Removed heat sink and removed thermal paste. Reapplied paste and re-installed. Did this twice.
- Removed RAM and tried with one only in slot 1 and then One only in slot 2

HEAT SINK: Noctua NH-D15 Premium CPU Cooler with NF-A15 x 2 PWM Retail Cooling Fans

FIRE WIRE PORTS: Rosewill PCIE FireWire 1394a Card 2+1 Ports Components Other RC-504

SOLID STATE HARD DRIVE: PNY XLR8 SATA 240GB 6Gbps 2.5-Inch Solid State Drive SSD9SC240GMDA-RB

did you ever get this resolved? from what i had read the older firmware for bios had problems with usb stopping the boot but later ones fixed it - were you able to fix it? having similar endless boot issue with newer bios
