H55M-UD2H - Intel i5-661 and Memory

Is 4GB the maximum usuable memory in an H55M-UD2H with the Inter i5-661 CPU and keeping XP or Win7 32-bit? It's the legacy hardware that's wanting the 32-bit.

Hi,

Yes the maximum usable memory limit with a 32 bit Windows OS is 4 GB. It is the OS that will limit your memory not your hardware.
