OC Guru won't start
« on: October 18, 2015, 05:06:07 pm »
Hi all,

First time posting, forgive me if this is in the wrong section.

I have recently purchased a 980ti. I had OC Guru ii working fine when I first got the card, settings were remembered after restarting and all that jazz.

The main reason I want to use OC Guru is because of the LED functions, I have afterburner on for my OC and fan control.

Trouble is that I recently reverted back to windows 7 from windows 10 (getting a bunch of blue screens for no reason). When I reverted it worked for about a week then all of a sudden I start getting the below message every time I try to open OC Guru ii.

I have searched around on the internet but can not seem to find a solution. A bunch of people have had the same issue but I can't find a solution.

Does anyone have any ideas ?

Thanks

Guru2 1.9.0.1 was working for you?

It never worked properly here - while it starts up fine it can't create profiles, no OSD hotkey working and it did not even auto start due to a flawed task scheduler entry/event which you can fix manually.

.. and the error log tells

Basically it's just a nice desktop picture for me - trashed it!

Uninstall this piece of garbage, problem solve.
Also don't bother with 1.92, even worst.
