So , I installed the Intel Xtreme Tuning Utility , didnt want to mess with any settings but wanted it installed just in case.
Restarted PC, my CPU fan spins up to 100% and stays there until shutdown.
Most of the time its running at 12% load , the CPU never spun up to 100% before installing this software, yet after uninstalling with Revo , the fan still spins up to 100%.
It does not spin up to 100% while in the BIOS or Safe mode , so a program or service is causing this.
Any advice ? The Fan is so loud and simply dosent need to be at this load.
I tried to install the Gigabyte fan utility via its lovely driver-error-filled appcenter with no joy , this and Speedfan cannot control the CPU fan.
Speed fan says its running at 872RPM but the CPU is 20 Deg.
