Gigabyte GA Z97X UD5H / mouse and keyboard issues

I have some trobles with my mouse and keyboard. I have them to USB 2.0 ports.
Everytime when i recover my backup with Acronis, after everything is done, my mouse / keyboard aren't working, they are death. I have to reboot / BIOS / and change all those 3 options to ON or OF ..

How should i avoid this trobles ?
Sometime, when i insert the Recovery Acronis CD, before i start to recover, the mouse / keyboard are death, also.
I installed 2-3 days ago, Windows 10, in dual boot with Windows 7.
When i wanted to format the HDD for Windows 10, i couldn't use the mouse and keybaord. So i went into BIOS again, and played with all those 3 options.
After i rebooted into Windows 7, 2 -3 hours later, allthough Windows 7 was working with no issues before, same story ;no mouse and keyboard ...
Any ideas, guys ?

By any chance these wireless? Have you tried other keyboard & mouse? Get yourself a PS2 keyboard and try that when installing windows 10. If you have other USB stuff plug in do you lose them?

Mouse ( Logitech G502 ) and keyboard ( some cheap brand ) are both USB -wired
I never lose other USB pluged in.
Something is from the BIOS settings, i guess.
Should i put, maybe, the mouse and keyboard, into USB 3.0 ports ?

You want the Full Initial. It is set to Partial Initial by Default.

USB Support

Disabled - All USB devices are disabled before the OS boot process completes.

Full Initial - All USB devices are functional in the operating system and during the POST.

Partial Initial - Part of the USB devices are disabled before the OS boot process completes. (Default)

This item is configurable only when Fast Boot is set to Enabled. This item is disabled when Fast Boot is
set to Ultra Fast.

I don't want to use  Fast Boot

A few things going on here.  I'm an MVP on the Acronis Forums, so please share with us the version and build of ATIH you are using. 

Keep in mind the boot CD (for a particular build) does not always support every storage controller or USB chipset available.  Because of this it is sometimes necessary to build a WinPE boot disk with drivers for your specific hardware.  Sometimes just ensuring you are using the latest build of the acronis version you own can help.  Updates to your product are available free from your Acronis User Acct.  I assume you are familiar with it.

As you have already determined, it is also often possible to overcome these limitations using a USB 2 port even though 3.0 might be available.  The Linux kernel available when a particular version is released plays a role in this too.

Try dmdilks suggestions also.  The Acronis Boot CD does interact with the system pre-boot.  Using Full initial as dmdilks suggests might help with detection.  Similarly to windows 7 which does not have native xHCI support like 8 or 10 for example.

I'd have to look, but I have used versions 2014 and 2015 (various builds) with my board (same as yours) without any keyboard or mouse issues (wired).  Hope our suggestions will help
