Problem with HDMI to TV connection
« on: January 22, 2016, 03:07:09 pm »
I have a problem with HDMI connection to my TV. When i connect pc using motherboard HDMI to Dell u2410 monitor system picks it up instantly (shows bios post screen and windows loading). But when i try to connect it to my Toshiba Tv (it's an old model but has HDMI 1.3a) it does not show anything... not bios post screen, not system loading... I've tried differnt HDMI wires. nothing helps. So any one knows a solution?

I know it is a dumb question but did you select the right HDMI port on the TV menu? I know I hooked up mine to a 28" TV while it was hooked to a monitor (DVI) and the card freaked out and went black on both. Had to do a hard S/D on the desktop to get it to come back. Maybe Next time I will hook it up then turn on the computer and see how that goes.

I have tried all 3 hdmi inputs on TV and nothing... Right now i found a workaround using Display port to HDMI wire. It connected from my motherboard using integrated graphics card and to TV... works and it works fine.
