Updated X99M-G5 BIO to F20 and can't get into BIO settings
« on: February 04, 2016, 02:31:39 am »
I have been using the X99M-Gaming 5 with no issues for the last 11 months now. The BIO was never updated and was at F3. I was somewhat surprise that for the longest time there was no update to the BIO until a few months ago. A week ago, I didn't to update my BIO in the App Center. When I didn't see the update BIO file, in the update. I went to the website and downloaded it and did the update through there. For some reason they didn't list any update to my motherboard.

After way, everything went well with the update and I just needed to restart my computer. I restart my computer and it goes into the Windows can't be found and I needed to fix it. I try to go into BIO but I just get a black screen. I'm trying to change the default storage to my SSD drive to my OS will load. The only way I can get my Windows working at start up is to put F12 and pick my SSD drive where Windows is installed and everything works fine. But I have to do that every time.

Does anyone have this issue when updating to F20 on the X99M-Gaming 5?
