Hi i just bought a new Board GA-Z170X-gaming3

Using Corsair 4GB DDR4 2400 BUS Desktop RAM

Was installing THE HDD but no display when connecting HDD / OPTICAL DEVICE .

WIthout HDD/OPTICAL DEVICE Display does show the BIOS setup but when connecting HDD / OPTICAL DEVICE no display shows.

NO whats the problem
Is there any specific HDD or this board?

I m trying to install WD 1TB HDD

Thats bizarre.  You have internal graphics set to on or auto in the bios?

Please provide full system specs. (all connected devices) Including display, and how its being connected.

What SATA port are you connecting the disk to? 

Have you performed a battery pull or CLR_CMOS?  I know the BIOS displays without the disk connected, but please perform this step so we have a common starting point.
