Why do you want to run the 1333? 1066 vs 1333 in speed there really is none. Yes it should run at default setting 1066. I have had Gigabyte boards that just don't like some brands of memory.

I just had to get a 775 board running for a computer repair shop. You really have to over clock your CPU a little. I don't OC so I can't help you there. Like I said if you can run 1066 stay with that memory and plus put 8-gbs in too.

Most of the 775 CPU's only support 800 & 1066 memory. Like I said I had to get a Gigabyte board running. If I put in 1333 or 1600 it wouldn't boot. If I put in 1066 it would boot. What version board do you have and what bios are you running?

Hello,

but when i insert them and start pc...it keeps beeping and it does not detect ram..

Are you mixing with the DDR2 or not?

If you haven't tried give this a go.

  • PC off, unplug the Power supply cable from the mains socket.
  • Clear the CMOS using the jumper or take the battery out and leave it for 1 minute.
  • Take out the DDR2 kit.
  • Insert just 1 stick DDR3 stick.
  • Place the jumper back to normal postion / re-insert the battery.
  • Turn on and see if anything happens.

If that does not work it could well be that your DDR3 kit does not work with your motherboard however you might want to try the other DDR3 stick on its own in the motherboard. (Do you know if the DDR3 kit actually works in another PC?)

Ok so i am not trying to run ddr2 and ddr3 the same time...i put the 2 ddr2 stick's in pc just to make it start, The ddr3 ram worked for a friend's motherboard so the ram is ok....I will try your solution and come with updates

Near the battery you have 2 gold pins, you need to place a jumper over these.
If you do not have a jumper (maybe you have an old hard drive or CD drive with one you can use?) take the battery out instead.
