YOu can see what Gigabyte might be able to offer... or I would use the HDMI 1.3a or Display Port
HDMI should support 1920x1080 (native 1920x1200)
Display Port should support 2560x1440 (native 2560x1600)
We have seen numerous reports of problems using newer HDMI displays with older BIOS' and motherboards. If the HDMI monitor supports 720, I'd try it.
You can also try Display Port to VGA or HDMI adapter.
I wouldn't bother with LDVS
