Hi,
Hope someone can help
I have had this problem of the system booting up CPU fans spins for 7 secs and powers down then repeats the same over and over.

I have done a lot of trouble shooting and had 1 motherboard replace by the supplier. this is how it it right now:

Brand new motherboard: GA Z97-hd3
Brand new power supply : EVGA 750w eco
Know working also new Intel i7-4790k LGA 1150

This is all that is setup on a bench  MB-PWR-CPU  nothing else..... it still will spin the fan for a few seconds then shut down and continue this cycle :(

I am lost as to what to do next
Thanks Mal

Have you updated the bios and try using only 1 ram slot and make sure ram is seated good. The only time I had that happen is ram problem or unstable overclock
