I am currently running i7 920@3.7 and instead of upgrading whole system which would cost currently me a lot I was thinking to get used Xeon X5675 chip for $120. I checked CPU support list and unfortunately It is not said that is being supported.
While EX58-DS4 supports other 32nm chips like Xeon W3690, what are the odds X5675 is going to work? Should I go for it?
