I have Windows 10 Anniversary update, i7-4790k and my motherboard is a G1.Sniper Z97 (rev. 1.0) and the main bios is at version F8 but backup bios is at version F4. F7 version says "This BIOS prohibits updating to earlier version BIOS"
So i guess the recovery system doesn't work because the backup bios is at F4?
I start recovery process and completes but pc keeps boot looping, only when i change the switch for backup bios it stops the boot loop. I flashed bios almost 1 year ago and i had zero problems, last night the computer started become slow and i decided restart from windows but got stuck at restarting screen for 5 or more min and then restart loop happened. I can't even go to the bios because don't show gigabyte logo on monitor, it just keeps boot loop, so i guess main bios got corrupted but backup bios is working like a charm.
