Multi Monitor Display Problems F2A78M-D3H
« on: November 04, 2016, 05:45:32 pm »
Hi Guys, hoping you can help me.

I have an F2A78M-D3H board with 3 video outputs, DVI-D, HDMI & VGA

I can get the VGA monitor working fine, but my other monitors are actually HDMI TV's. I can get 2 monitors working fine together using the HDMI and VGA outputs on the PC.

However, I cannot get the DVI output to work with any.

None of my monitors have a DVI intput, so I bought a DVI D - HDMI lead, however no monitor is detected when I plug it in.

Do I actually need a monitor/TV with a DVI-D input for this to work?

I'm running windows 10

Thanks in advance for any advice at all, this is really starting to annoy me, as the only reason I bought this computer was so I could get 3 displays working at the same time.

Hi Guys, hoping you can help me......

so I bought a DVI D - HDMI lead, however no monitor is detected when I plug it in.

Greetings,

Sorry to hear of your issue.  The adapter is likely the problem as the board is triple monitor ready.

Problem areas:
-In some cases the standard, native or supported resolution(s) of the adapter does not match the display device
-This can apply to the boards output also, but you usually see letterboxing if this is the case
-PIN out doesn't match adapter, so no signal to monitor

I suggest you try testing with a direct DVI connected monitor.  Please post your results.
