GA Z170 HD3P beeps and lost keyboard
« on: December 01, 2016, 02:13:44 am »
Hi all.

I have a GA Z170 HD3P with BIOS F20 and a 6700K cpu and 4x8 GB RAM (CMK32GX4M4A2133C13)
The system does 5 long beeps and boots with no keyboard until OS loads.
I've disabled USB devices in BIOS, but my keyboard is PS/2

Did you just update the bios? If you did were you having problems with the keyboard before. People having problems with F20. If they go back to F20b everything is fine.

I think F20 is the newest that is the one on Gigabyte's site. Yes over on Tweaktown they do have the beta F20c. If you want to try it. But if it doesn't work you can down graded it by using this. http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=17957.0

Plus were you having a problem or just upgraded because it was there. That link that guy was having problems with F20. He went back to F20b and all is problems went away. Look at what software he used. We have had 3 or 4 threads with people having problems with F20.

Why does F20b work and F20. Maybe they change something in F20b before they release F20. Oh plus F20b is a down grade too.
