« on: January 28, 2017, 07:34:42 pm »
Hello... does anyone have this setup as I have,
Gigabyte X99 UD3P
I7 5820K CPU
EVGA GTX 970 GPU ( 4 GIG )
16 GIG DDR4 RAM. (G Skill 3000 (PC4 24000) Timing 15-15-15-35
The rest is not important ( i don't think). I broke down and bought battlefield 1 the other day and can't get any higher than 20 to 30 fps on medium to low settings.. is there anything out there for free to test my system or any advice would
be greatly appreciated. Not much faith in this motherboard. Can't even use profile 1 for memory to boost it to 3000 as is what is is rated for.
Thanks in advance.
Coreman.

Greetings,
The difference in frame rates you would see between memory running at 2133 and 3000 is not substantial.  You have another issue.  I would suggest running everything at stock speeds while you troubleshoot.  Do you have other hardware installed that might be using resources.  Is the card running at 16x in its slot?

What about in the OS... Is this a fresh install or migration from older hardware?  Is the card showing as PCI-e 3.0?  Are you "trying" to OC the card using EVGA Precision?  What version Forceware drivers are you running?  Have you tried an earlier or later version?  These are the places you should be looking at to figure out where the problem is.
