Issues with an FX-8350 on a GA-990X Motherboard.

Hey everyone,

Today I bought an FX-8350 to replace my FX-6300 which is in my Gigabyte GA-990X Gaming SLI board. Once I got it all replaced, I switched the PC on and all the fans were spinning and the lights were on but there was no POST and no display.

I took some advice and removed the CMOS battery and then rehoused all the components and put the battery back in. Now I get 1 long and 2 or 3 short POST beeps. I've tried removing my graphics card and removing my RAM one stick at a time but nothing has worked and the POST beeps continue to happen.

What can I do to stop this now?

Hey,
I have 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600MHz RAM and a Zotac GTX 960 2GB graphics card.
And yes, the 8 pin CPU connector is plugged in and I believe it's contacted as the machine is heating up.

EDIT: Got it to give me a display by switching the GPU slot it was in. However now I keep getting the UEFI Dualbios looping issue.

Your PSU up to it?
The 8350 is a 125W CPU while your old CPU is 95W

other than that flush the backup bios too or it will be restored
here some good instructions

... I hope you don't have any overclock active?
