AX370 5 F5C

I updated my bios to F5C today. I know that is still a beta bios.

But I am wondering what to trust for temperatures right now. Before the update the idle temps were 49-55c°, after the update it is 28-31C°. Even though the update lowered the temps, master ryzen still shows the temperatures like before.

So I was wondering which one to actually trust, the master ryzen temps or the new gigabyte bios temps

Did you had a look at this article regarding about it? https://www.kotaku.com.au/2017/03/amds-ryzen-cpus-arent-running-as-hot-as-they-say-they-are/

It claims that AMD needs to iron out their software on the temp side when it comes to 1700X and 1800X CPU's. I'm glad i'm going for the 1700 where i wont run into that problem >w<

As Slayer said, the 1700X and 1800X are reporting temperatures 20C higher than actual - it seems to be intentional from AMD to engage higher cooling.
I'd guess that the latest BIOS is correcting this in their disaplay, but the sensor is outputting the same information so Ryzen Master is still showing with the +20C
