Will this xeon work with this board?

Looking into doing a xeon build.
Need info about this cpu and if it can be compatible with X99 even though it says its for X79.

according to the QVL list of CPU's for the motherboard you show in the picture, the answer is no, it is not compatible.

What are some unlocked CHEAP Xeons for X99 boards? Im planning on doing a build.
