Hey guys, got the RAM, worked like a charm it's let me enter bios. Only downside is it asks me to "insert boot media into boot device" which I assumed meant windows into the dvd drive, but it's not letting me select the DVD drive, not even bringing it up as an option?
First/Current build:

AMD 9590 4.7Ghz 8-core, 4TB SSHD, 8GB DDR3 RAM, be quiet dark rock pro 3, 1200w PSU

Some progress  :)

So for the boot options what are you using, Windows 7?

In the BIOS you might need to set the OS Type, where it shows you the boot order scroll down.
Set this to Windows 7.

And where is says Storage boot option control
Set this to Legacy only.

Once done, save&exit.
Then choose your boot order.
My PC is evolving

Damn, completely forgot about this thread, apologies. Turned out it was my bad, PC didn’t like the way I burnt the windows disc apparently so I ended up cloning my old hard drive onto my 4TB SSHD, seemed easier.

Worked like a charm, only decision left is whether to upgrade from my GTX 745 4GB (yes I know it’s an old card but all I do is d/l and soft gaming)
