problem vcore GA-Z270-HD3P
« on: April 12, 2017, 07:41:34 pm »
hello,

I bought a new motherboard 4 days ago with I7 7700K and the vcore was 1,34 (bios installed F1). So I installed bios F4 but vcore again 1,29. I installed last beta bios F5c but again this problem.
In my bios load optimized defaults.

I not understand : why Gigabyte apply a tension so high?? First time than I see this problem with motherboard......

Might this have to do with your memory?  Are you running the CPU at stock speed?  Measuring with CPU-Z?

Keep watching for newer BIOS

It seems like the vcore voltage is slowly being "reeled in" on some z170 / z270 based boards with each newer BIOS rev.  You may have to wait, or make the changes yourself running stress tests in between changes to confirm stability.

Yes I wait a new bios. Currently in game (ex battlefield 1 multiplayer), vcore is 1,27 and 68°C max. (cpu no oc of course).

I contact support Gigabyte? Ot they know the problem?
