Gigabyte 1080Ti - extreme gaming card - when ?
« on: March 19, 2017, 09:10:04 am »
I am considering purchasing the Gigabyte founders edition 1080Ti card which is available next week, however I would prefer the Gigabyte "full treatment" with 3fans windforce cooling.

Do we know if Gigabyte plan to do that anytime soon

Ooooo baby...  This got 9717 in Unigine's Superposition (4K Optimised), 20739 (1440p) Catzilla, 10427 (1440p) 3DMark, 7342 (Fire Strike Ultra 4K), and it runs so quiet.  This card is about 10-20% faster than my GTX 980 SLI which is slightly better than what I expected.  However, I got the 1080 ti for improving VR performance as I have an HTC Vive and multi-gpu support in VR is dismal.
Asus Rampage V Extreme, Intel i7-5960X, 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws 3GHz DDR4, Windows 10 Pro, Corsair H110 CPU cooler, Gigabyte AORUS GTX 1080Ti Xtreme, EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0, 2 x Samsung 850 Pro 1TB,  Antec HCP-1300 Platinum PSU, Cooler Master MasterKeys Pro L, Roccat Kone XTD, Asus PG278Q
