Haven't updated GPU since 2010 please help looking to upgrade

Searching the internet for answers. I have not upgraded my GPU since 2010! And look to do so now. I tried to get help from another forums, but that's just left me with more questions.

First my PC Specs:

Intel Core i5 750 @2.67Ghz Lynnfield 45nm Tech.
12. GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @532 MHz
Gigabyte P55-US3L (Soecket 1156)
1024MB Sapphire 5770HD
500W PSU

The things is the motherboard I have is a bit dated now. But working absolutely fine and the most recent game I got is 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' (running mostly on low settings). Plus I play Final Fantasy XIV alot. But I wish to update the GPU (budget range under £150). the 2 that I have seen that I seen that I like are the 'Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB GDDR5 Dual-Link DVI HDM' and the 'Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1050Ti WF2 OC 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E.'

So since I've never upgraded the GPU before I need to know 2 things.

1). Will they work on a LEGACY BIOS? (Read about a BIOS Switch), but cant find it.

2). How much performance will I loose from PCI-E 2.0 slot for a 3.0 card?

3). Other recommendations for a GPU under £150 that double or triple better than the 5770 and have at least 2 HDMI Slots.

Thank you.

Thank you.

1) Yes, they will work with the legacy BIOS.
2) Stuff all performance loss if any.
3) The GTX 1050 Ti 4GB is definitely a good choice for <= £150.  I did a search on pricespy.uk.  There's two GTX 1060s but they're only 3GB cards and have just one HDMI slot.

The CPU will most likely show up to be the bottleneck in your system with the 5770HD gone.
