I apologise if I'm repeating here but here goes...
I am trying to get a moderate 4.2 ghz from my FX8300 black edition, which is the top end of it's turbo range. The problem is that easytune doesn't do a damn thing for me. Auto Tune and energy saving are greyed out and when I select one of the presets it asks me if I want to reboot and when I click yes nothing happens and no settings are changed after a manual reboot. When I try to OC my ram in easy tune I'm told "privilege not held".
If I try to manually OC I can't the frequency and voltage options are on auto and won't change to manual. I also have no access to XMP in the BIOS, that won't change either. I'm using Hyperx fury ram so it should auto OC but it doesn't. I'm at a loss, I know I'm probably missing something obvious but it eludes me. Strangely though the Motherboard is running my CPU at 3.6 ghz rather than the 3.3 ghz base.

Could one of you kind people help a frustrated budget gamer out
