GA-Z270X-GAMING K5 / water cpu cooler
« on: May 18, 2017, 01:41:22 am »
Hi all,

Recently have made a new PC build with a GA-Z270X-GAMING K5 motherboard and a MasterLiquid Pro 240 for CPU cooling.
The technician had connect the pump to the CPU-fan header, and the two radiator 120 mm fans to the SYS-FAN1/2 header. Is that correct? The SYS-FAN1/2 temperature sensors are faraway from the cpu and gives readings significantly cooler than Cpu sensor. Also the two 120 mm fans always turn at diferents speeds. Should be better to connect the radiator fans to the CPU-OPT header?

That's in advance.

Regards,
PLebre

P.S. Couldn't made the android RGB Fusion app to work, after the scan nothing happened. Is the some tutorial to help?

The pump should be connected to the CPU_FAN header.

Try using the included "Y" adapter and connect the 2 radiator fans to the CPU_OPT header as you described.  This should allow them to spin at the same RPM based on temps.
