X99 Designare has USB-C thunderbolt 3 connectivity of 40 Gb/s over a single wire - Is this connected directly to the PCI-e lanes of the CPU?
Does this in any way affect the way any of the PCI-e slots work?
There is also a thunderbolt 3 header on the motherboard for a thunderbolt 3 card - Is it possible to connect with either.
