EEC DDR4 ram on Gigabyte gaming 3 not working

Hi guys, First time posting here. I bought the gigabyte gaming 3 b350 motherboard for a reason as i checked the manual before buying and it states that it supports the EEC DDR4 ram at 1Rx8/2Rx8. I have a SK Hynix DDR4 8gb 1Rx8. But the system wont boot with that ram. Can you please help me in this matter will this issue be resolved in upcoming bios versions.

I think you have to enable first in the bios, and as it doesn't post, I'm assuming you will have to get a cheap stick of non-ecc, get it to boot then enable it.
