« on: June 14, 2017, 11:05:20 pm »
Hi
I have this motherboard. Bios is F2 - I can't find Secure Boot Mode or Windows features in the BIOS?  Can anyone help?

Greetings,
Both v1.0 & 1.1 of this board was released prior to W8 /10.  These features (if available) are not documented in the manual.  They might exist in a later BIOS revision, but you'll likely have to find someone who owns this board running a later BIOS rev to confirm.  The Tweaktown forums may be another resource...   or, you can open a ticket with Gigabyte Support and see if they can confirm support for these features and which BIOS rev (if supported) they are present in.

I was worried the first time I updated my bios too. If you need to update the bios follow this guide.
I used it the first time and had no issues. Do NOT use @bios to do it. That is where the issues arise.

+1 on that recommendation.  BIOS flashing is not something to be scared of, but reasonable steps should be taken to ensure the probability of success.  Make back up, flash in BIOS using Q-Flash, have the machine connected to a UPS.  The flash should have a purpose, resolve a specific issue, address a security concern, enhance the feature set or compatibility.  Flashing just to have the latest BIOS rev available for your hardware is not recommended.
