Usb limit

Hi is there a usb limit for my Z97 G1 Sniper board? I have all ports occupided and add a 1 to 4 usb splitter on back of the pc so there are now 11-12 usb connections in use. What about the internal USB headers? How can i use this for more connetions? I got this message
"The limit of connected usb devices is reached" or something simular!

My psu is Corsair TX650M

Sorry, but the board does not come with an unlimited amount of resources.  12 USB cables would make for a very busy desk, workspace.
